Since the beginning of my college studies my goal in life was to make sure that the skills and knowledge that I learn are applied to helping others. With a team, I have created a prototype device with the focus of utilizing the motion of waves to create electricity to power homes. My expertise are in the areas of computer drafting and design, energy systems, and HVAC system design. This website will showcase my 3D design projects using different programs and other school projects that showcase my mechanical engineering calculations, thinking, and skills. NON-THESIS GRADUATE PROJECT
HVAC Design Health Care Facility
Summary:
The premise of this project was to design an HVAC system for a health care facility with two floors and have the dimensions of 76x46x36 ft. First, I used certain air flow specifications for the different type of room in this type of facility and then found specific equipment using the heating and cooling load, and CFM of each rooms.

SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT
WAVE POWER GENERATOR
Summary:
We proposed a device that creates energy from a natural source. The natural source we are trying to get energy from is the ocean/sea. This innovation will decrease the usage of fossil fuels. If we can harness power from wave motion then we can have a natural and unlimited source of clean energy. Our design consists of a strong base with 12 arms containing buoys and linear generators on either side of it. The base was anchored to the sea bed with four pillars each corner. The buoys would capture the energy from the waves and transmit it to the linear generator by capturing the up and down motion of the arms. This linear motion of the arms is then converted by the linear generator into electricity through electromagnetism thus providing clean energy. The platform connects all the output from the linear generator and transmits it to the nearest transformer for further use.
